Walkin' and Throwin'

Dax is walking all the time, now. And he's discovered the joy of throwing a ball. He will pick one up, throw it, go get it, and do it all over again. and again. and again. Dad is pleased that Dax throws left-handed. Mom is pleased with how Dax can entertain himself for extended periods of time. :) (And, a little sad that her "baby" is growing up.)

Bumper Car

Dax has decided that his push walker is fun, because he can walk really fast with it (think "ramming speed"). Let's just say we won't be giving him car keys anytime soon. BTW - you might notice that he's not an ambi-turner. Only turns left.

And, He's Off!

Dax has been practicing walking and he's getting pretty good. He was taking 3 or 4 steps by himself, but he can do a lot more now. He's still not confident enough to do it all the time, but that's probably not too far down the line.

First Haircut

As evidenced by the first photo, Dax needed a haircut. So, Mommy mustered up the courage and brought out the scissors. Surprisingly, it went well, and Dax actually looks better now that he's lost the "British Rocker" look.
