Dax meets Ava

Today we drove to San Antonio to visit with our friend Paula and to meet her daughter, Ava, for the first time. Dax really liked Ava (and apparently he's not shy about expressing his feelings). Ava, on the other hand, wasn't too sure about this guy who moved a little too fast for a first date.

Dax and Badger

Dax is really interested in how things feel, right now. He touches whatever is in arm's reach. This includes the dogs. Here's a short clip of him "petting" Badger. We're really pleased with how well the dogs have adjusted to Dax. The second clip shows that they weren't too sure about the "new kid", at first. But, look how far we've all come in 5 months!

Dax Rolling Over

Here's Dax rolling over. He first did it on Oct 3rd at Aunt Kay's house, but we didn't get it on video until a few days later.

First Cereal

This is Dax's first taste of rice cereal. He seemed to like it. I even think he swallowed some of it!
